Gloves off to Comms-care’s fourth fight night victory
Comms-care, leader in the provision of channel IT support services are pleased to announce raising over £2500.00 for charity in their recent victory at this year’s CRN Fight Night.
Neil Bryers known as ‘White Lightening’ took to the ring against Marty ‘Mayhem’ Visser on 26th May and was announced the winner in the third round after his opponent failed to fully recover after being knocked down by Neil.
This victory is the fourth in a row for Comms-care who has consecutively won year on year. The pressure was on Neil to continue the run of success Comms-care has had at Fight Night over the last three years but no luck was needed as Neil remained focussed and made it the fourth win for Comms-care.
It wasn’t all about the winning; all funds raised on the night and throughout the event go to charity. Each fighter chooses a charity of their choice to donate to and CRN also provided each fighter with an equal share of the total amount raised on the night. Neil managed to raise a total of £2588.00 with £1200.00 coming from Neil’s work colleagues, family and friends and the remaining £1388.00 from the fight night itself.
The money will go to The Railway Children, Neil’s chosen charity. The Railway Children was launched in 1995 to stop the abuse of children living alone and at risk on the streets across India, Africa and the UK.
Neil Bryers commented on the night: “I had a blast, I knew I was ready for the fight after training very hard and the fact that so many people had donated so much money made me determined to win. It was a great experience and I would like to thank everyone for supporting me.”
