Fight Night Boxer To Fundraise For Cancer Charity.
Undefeated CRN Fight Night champions, Comms-care, will be competing again this year at the leading IT channel event to raise money for the Everyman Campaign.
Representing Comms-care at the white collar boxing event will be Comms-care’s Internal Accounts Manager, Ben Whitehouse from Northwich. Ben has the tough challenge of maintaining Comms-care’s undefeated title at the boxing event, as well as raising as much money as possible for his chosen charity, the Everyman Campaign.
Ben commented on his preparation for the CRN Fight Night, “Being able to represent Comms-care in the ring at CRN Fight Night is a fantastic opportunity for me to get fit and raise money for a charity close to my heart all at the same time. I’ve been training hard with Winsford Amateur Boxing Club and they have prepared me to make it a 7 out of 7 win for Comms-care on the night.”
Money raised on the night from auctions and ticket sales, as well as the fundraising efforts of Ben prior to the event will go to Ben’s chosen charity, the Everyman Campaign, a charitable project set up to raise research funding for male cancers such as prostate and testicular cancer.
Ben Davies, Managing Director at Comms-care commented “Having a contender representing Comms-care at CRN Fight Night for the 6th year in a row is fantastic and is a typical reflection of the dedication and drive our employees show day-in, day-out across the whole business. The fact that Ben has been so dedicated to his training and fundraising efforts is admirable, and we wish him all the best for the fight.”
The CRN Fight Night takes place on 22nd May at London’s leading boxing venue, The Brewery and Ben will be taking on his opponent, Harry Lowton from SoftwareOne in front of a 500 strong crowd.
