Comms-care ‘double up’ at this year’s CRN Fight Night
Comms-care, recently announced they are preparing for two bouts at this year’s CRN Fight Night as two members of the Comms-care team have been selected to battle it out at one of the channel’s leading nights of entertainment. Following on from their success last year with Mark ‘The Enforcer’ Forster Comms-care will be keen to go one better and achieve 2 victories on the night against their industry peers. The fight night takes place on 27th May at The Brewery, London where both Comms-care contenders will be raising funds for Comms-care’s chosen charity, The Railway Children.
Our victory at last year’s CRN Fight Night encouraged other Comms-care staff to train hard over the year as they looked to enter this year’s Fight Night qualification process. Successful in their application, chosen contenders Senior Engineer, Gary Simpson and Account Manager, Joey Ghader will be aiming to put on a good show for those attending the night but more importantly raise money for charity which is the main aim of the CRN Fight Night. We hope to smash last year’s total of £2,034 and raise even more money for The Railway Children.
The Railway Children makes contact with runaway and abandoned children as they arrive at railway stations, when they are most at risk from adult exploitation. By joining with other street children projects, it provides the children with protection and support through counseling, education, healthcare, shelter and friendship.
Richard Eglon, Marketing Manager at Comms-care comments “The CRN Fight Night is one of the most entertaining events in the channel’s calendar. Not only is it a great evening of entertainment for all those who attend, it also creates great camaraderie and respect between the fighters and raises vast amounts of money for some well deserving charities which is why we are proud to be associated with the event.”
