Comms-care appoint new MD

Comms-care appoint new MDComms-care, leader in the provision of channel network and IT support services recently appointed Ben Davies as their Managing Director.

Davies was one of the original founders of Comms-care back in 2002, where his previous role was as Sales Director.  He has many years’ experience working in the channel where he has shown leadership and strategic direction as a member of the Comms-care board.  The decision to appoint Davies as Managing Director was very obvious and unanimous amongst his senior colleagues who were delighted that Ben accepted this key role.
Commenting on his recent appointment Davies explains “I have been at Comms-care since its inauguration and it fills me with pride to see what the company has achieved over that time.  To be given the reigns as MD of Comms-care is a great honour and I understand the enormity of this huge challenge.  The company has ambitious growth plans over the next few years that will test every member of the Comms-care team whom I am sure will rise to the challenge.”

One of Davies’ main objectives is to ensure that Comms-care continue to provide excellent service and support to all their customers by maintaining and developing skilled and highly motivated teams across the entire business.  In addition, he will also oversee an expansion of services Comms-care will be looking to introduce into the channel that will reconfirm their position as industry leaders in their field.

Davies’ appointment will see the role of Managing Director filled for the first time at Comms-care since the sudden loss of their previous MD Scott Yates who died in 2008.

Davies then goes on to say “When Scott and I set up Comms-care back in 2002 we could never have envisaged the success it has now become.  It is testament to his vision and drive to become the industry’s leading ‘channel-only’ IT support organisation that Comms-care are where they are today. Looking ahead, I now have the opportunity to build on all that hard work and with the support of our dedicated people, we will be looking to increase our value proposition to all our partners.”
