In it to win it!by Comms-care Colin
February 01, 2013
I can’t believe it’s already February! I suppose time flies when you’re having fun!
Two of our employees have travelled down to London this week as they attended their assessments for the 2013 CRN Fight Night! Those in the channel will know that the CRN Fight Night is one of the most competitive and much anticipated event in the IT channel; with contenders fighting it out for their chosen charity and to claim the coveted title of CRN Fight Night Winner. Comms-care currently stands unbeaten with 5 winner’s titles to their name, and we are hoping 2013 will bring us our 6th winner!
This year we have three employees putting themselves forward for the challenge, Darren Briscoe our Technical Director will have his assessment next week, while Paul Vernon, Account Manager and the first female from Comms-care to sign up, Hannah Snowden, PR and Partner Relationship Executive attended their assessment at The Ring Boxing Club in Southwark this week. They will all find out in mid-February if they have been matched with someone and if selected, will contend at the fight night in May this year. We are keeping our fingers crossed for all three of them! Good luck guys!
We have a new case study available on our website this week! The case study is with one of our channel partners, Strawberry Global Technology, and details how our partnership to provide their customers (mainly hospitals and graphic printers) with 24/7 HP and Sun Oracle IT support. The partnership has enhanced their service offerings, improved their customer’s business functionality and enabled them to compete for and win contracts over their larger competitors. Take a look on our website for the full case study!
As some of you may remember form my earlier blogs, Comms-care conducted a survey on BYOD with their channel partners and the end-user community. The survey was formed to gain some key industry insight on how BYOD is being adopted (or not adopted) across multiple vertical markets. The comprehensive report is being finalised and will be ready for public viewing in the next couple of weeks, so make sure you don’t miss out on this key opportunity to see what your customers are looking for in terms of BYOD support. We will be posting the report on our website and will let you know when it’s available to read via twitter, so keep your eyes peeled!
It looks as if the winter blues are lifting in the North West today, the skies are blue and the sun is shining, best get back to work as I have lots to finish before the weekend!
