Could it be a double award scoop for Comms-care?

Is it really September already?? Feels like I’ve only just come back from my summer holiday and Autumn has arrived!

It’s been a great week in the press for Comms-care, we’ve had quite a few opinion articles and interviews published in the industry press and we were also shortlisted for one of the channel’s most prestigious awards, the CRN Channel Awards. Comms-care has successfully been announced as a finalist in the “Channel Services Provider of the year” category and faces some tough competition on the night. We will have our fingers crossed on the night to see if the judges believe in Comms-care as much as our channel partners and our employees do. It’s fantastic to just be nominated, but it would be nice if we can add another award to the Comms-care trophy cabinet!

Rob Darby, Comms-care’s Sales Director, has been rivalling Alan Carr with his chatty man skills in the press this week; discussing his career path into Comms-care with Fleur Doidge from CRN and weighing up the advantages of using aggregator companies in the IT channel in September’s Comms Business. You can view Rob’s opinion on page 69 of the online September issue of Comms Business here.

Check out Rob’s career path interview with CRN online and hear him talk about knowing he always wanted to go into the IT channel (good decision!) and how his previous employment enabled him to excel to the Board of Directors at Comms-care.

Comms-care’s Technical Director, Darren Briscoe, was seen on the Comms Business website advising how BYOD and mobile devices can be future proofed by safeguarding data and the devices to reduce the burden on businesses. Read the “BYO-Problem?” article on the Comms Business website.

Some more good news hot off the press is that a member of our Service Desk, Laura Bratherton, has been shortlisted in the UK IT Industry Awards for “IT Service & Support Professional of the Year”!! She now has to attend an interview with the judges next month and await the awards ceremony in November to see if she is the lucky winner! Congratulations Laura!

I’m signing off on that high note folks, enjoy your week!
