Here we are again at the end of another week!

This week at Comms-care has been a little more light hearted than the past couple of weeks. We decided to inject some fun and laughter back into HQ after one of our busiest periods to date with the Halloween Scare Day on Wednesday.

The Scare Day was in aid of one our sponsored charities, The Railway Children, and included a range of ghoulish activities throughout the day. On Tuesday evening, HQ was transformed into a Halloween extravaganza ready for the Scare Day. We held a fancy dress competition on the day, which was fantastic to see all of the employees making the effort, from witches and devils, to pumpkins, zombie cheerleaders and masked murderers! Even the Directors joined in, turning up even more scary looking than usual.

We even had a very special guest judge turn up to choose the winner of the competition. Charlee Forster, our Operations Director’s daughter, came in to present the prize in her best Halloween costume.  Throughout the day we had a trick or treat game, a bake sale and a raffle to raise a fantastic £160 for The Railway Children!

You can see all of the pictures from the day on my twitter page including our fancy dress winner, Laura Bratherton from Service Desk who came as a Zombie Cheerleader. Congratulations Laura!

As you are all aware, BYOD is the hottest topic in the channel right now. Many people keep talking about what it is and why you have to have it, but there seems to be a lack of information out there on how to make it work securely for your business and workforce. So, this week I have been creating a survey on “securely enabling your workforce” to find out what the real issues or blessings are when it comes to BYOD policies and maintenance, and what support services companies can be offering you to securely assist your transition into the BYOD era.

The survey will be out on Tuesday 6th November so make sure you check your inboxes and keep an eye on my tweets to take part. The findings will be shared with those who take part and there’s also the chance of winning a Kindle Fire!

Don’t miss out!
