Awarding great talent within the Channelby Comms-care Colin
November 15, 2013
Well, here we are at the end of another channel awards season, and what a fantastic week of celebrations it’s been!
It was great to see many of our partners nominated, commended and winners in the award season this year, such a fantastic achievement for all of them!
Firstly, this week’s awards were kicked off with the UK IT Industry awards on Wednesday where Comms-care were very proud to have our own Laura Bratherton, Service Desk Analyst, representing us on the night. She was shortlisted in the “IT Service & Support Professional of the Year” category along with many others from some very big companies. Unfortunately, she wasn’t crowned the winner on the night, but she will always be a winner to us! Laura is a fantastic and integral member of the Comms-care family, and we are all so proud that her hard work and dedication was recognised with a finalist’s place from the judges.
Last night was the prestigious, and always fabulous, CRN awards held at the Battersea Arena in London. I saw many of you there last night at my VIP meet and greet, but for those of you who weren’t in the VIP area, head over to twitter and check out my pics from the night.
Comms-care was the sponsor if the VIP reception and the main bar last night (you know how we like to party!) and in the VIP area there were many images of me, gilded in gold, dotted around. Which I’m sure the ladies loved! We also had a very special photograph session on the red carpet for all of the VIPs.
I’m sure meeting me was the highlight of many people’s night, but for the Comms-care folk, the highlight was definitely winning the much coveted “Channel Service Provider of the Year” award for the second time! Winning this award is a great reflection of how far the company has grown over the last 10 years, how hard working our employees are and how our dedication to our channel partners has been recognised by the judges.
As you may have seen in our latest news , it has been a record year for Comms-care in terms of growth and winning the award last night really is the icing on the cake for Comms-care. Well done to everyone who works hard to make Comms-care what we are today and here’s to another amazing year!
Bye for now,
A Hung-over Colin
