Comms-care expand their Data Centre support capabilities
Comms-care, the Channel’s leading provider of IT support services is pleased to announce their recent accolade of being awarded the Cisco Specialization - Advanced Data Center Architecture.
Comms-care is one of the first Cisco Gold Partners in the UK to achieve the Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialization. Assigned to their other Cisco Specializations, this endorsement will allow Comms-care to provide their resellers and channel partners with the opportunity to sell, install and support Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS) and their surrounding Data Center technologies using Comms-care’s trained and experienced engineers.
Darren Briscoe, Technical Director at Comms-care commented on their recent feat “Comms-care work very closely with their partners, vendors and leading industry bodies to identify what new services and technologies we need to be adopting. By obtaining the Cisco Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialisation our partners gain instant access to a team of technical experts trained to deliver solutions based around the Cisco UCS platform.”
Because technological demands and priorities vary, Cisco does not prescribe a specific architecture. Instead, Cisco provides an architectural framework consisting of a series of architectural building blocks. With these elements, organizations such as Comms-care can build the architecture and adopt the technologies best suited to the needs of their channel partners and the customers they serve.
Ben Davies, Managing Director at Comms-care explains “Data Centre technologies are experiencing dramatic growth with the rapid uptake of Cloud based services. These services generally require high throughput, resilient, high capacity storage and switching capabilities. In response to this, Comms-care has implemented a programme designed to obtain all the necessary technical expertise to support and facilitate our channel partners with any Data Centre opportunity they come across. By achieving the Cisco Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialization we have just made a huge tick in a very important box.”
