Comms-care recertified for ISO 22301 – business continuity
Comms-care is delighted to announce it has achieved recertification of ISO 22301, the international standard for business continuity, following a two day audit by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
The audit comprised a close examination of Comms-care’s paperwork and practices to ensure the business is meeting the requirements of the ISO standards, proving its ability to protect against, reduce the likelihood of, and recover from disruptive incidents.
It was particularly pleasing that, as a result of the assessment activities, no new non-conformances were raised, demonstrating that Comms-care’s Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) is now well established, mature and thoroughly understood by those within the business.
Mark Forster, Operations Director at Comms-care, commented, “Achieving our three-yearly recertification for ISO 22301 Business Continuity is a great testament to the Comms-care team which works tirelessly to not only remain compliant with the requirements set out by LRQA but also continuously strives to improve our processes. ISO 22301 is a real differentiator for us in the IT channel marketplace and ensures we offer confidence to our partners that we have effective processes in place in relation to the continuous delivery of operational services and supporting systems.”
Remaining at the forefront of the industry, Comms-care has additionally been recommended for continued certification by LRQA for a further range of its ISO standards, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) and ISO 20000 (IT Service Management).
