Comms-care awarded SafeContractor accreditation for third year in a row
Comms-care, the leading provider of outsourced IT services for the channel community and an Ingram Micro company, has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for the third successive year.
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. Achieving this accreditation for a third year demonstrates Comms-care’s excellent commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
The company’s application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard and continues to be an important health and safety benchmark for the business each year. Neil Bryers, HR Manager at Comms-care said: “At Comms-care we understand that our customers cannot afford the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. Under the SafeContractor scheme, our business had to undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and our track record for safe practice. Having successfully met the high standards we have achieved the SafeContractor accreditation, which is reassurance to our customers of our proactive approach to risk management and furthermore plays a vital role in supporting them through their own compliance needs.”
The Alcumus SafeContractor scheme will provide Comms-care’s customers with continued confidence in the company’s commitment to satisfying the channel’s quality and compliance requirements.
