Richard Eglon - Marketing Director

A hands-on, agile marketing leader and sales enabler, Richard has wide experience in setting and communicating strategic direction and executing ‘Go-to-Market’ plans which have driven profitable sales growth in key markets.

Originally, Richard was a Marketing Consultant for Comms-care and joined the Company full-time in 2007. Since that time he has helped position the Business as the recognised number one channel only provider of Network and Server support solutions. He has strategic responsibility for building and promoting the Comms-care brand.
Directing all aspects of Comms-care’s marketing activity throughout the UK and Ireland Richard is responsible for building and managing a high performance marketing team and engages extensively with sales channels and senior management to ensure marketing alignment and consistent delivery of profitable revenue growth.  He implements processes, metrics and KPIs to drive consistent methods of execution, improving marketing ROI and maximise cost efficiencies.

Richard retains a strong commercial focus and a robust record of driving sustainable revenue & profit growth. He continuously delivers increased market share by delivering clear-sighted marketing strategies, cohesive operational plans, effective sales channel enablement, strategic partner collaborations & operational process improvements.
Since his time at Comms-care the organisation has been recognised for several leading industry awards that include entry into The Sunday Times Tech 100, Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA and success at both the CRN Channel Awards and Comms National Awards.

Prior to his time at Comms-care Richard ran a successful marketing agency supporting many vertical markets including Public Sector, IT, Telecoms and Manufacturing. He has held several senior marketing roles within the IT and Telecoms industry and as the Global Brand Manager for a leading telecoms software organisation successfully implemented a new brand across the business which shortly after became the market leader.
